Full time, 40 hours per week
Are you a sports journalist? Do you want to live in Central Oregon? We’re looking for a sports editor to manage and produce the sports coverage for two weekly newspapers, the Madras Pioneer and the Central Oregonian in Prineville Oregon, and our digital products. The perfect candidate will be able to write sports game/features/analysis stories, take photos and design pages. Coverage area is Crook and Jefferson counties. Extensive prep coverage with three high schools, plus plenty of community and outdoor news. This Position is full time, 40 hours a week, with excellent benefits. Salary is based on experience. We will also consider someone interested in a part-time sports position.
